E-Coupe GPS - Override to change while moving?

Hello Everyone,

So - after reading everyone's great things to say about the E-Coupe, I'm just recently a proud new owner of an E-550 Coupe.

One thing is driving me crazy though - Does anyone know if it is possible to override the lockout on the GPS to make changes or input addresses while you are moving?

This is especially frustrating if you have a passenger who can input GPS coordinates, but you are still locked out.

I'd appreciate any advise that anyone can give on this.

Thanks

Read the reply about 4 down "bypass DVD"

My same reply:
See mods4cars. unit will give DVD in motion and also let you input address for GPS

Try this company

I did install myself. Do not need to remove radio, all in foot well. Works great

Thanks for the info - I had glanced through the DVD thread and wondered if it worked for the GPS too.

Although I was secretly hoping there was a fix just for the GPS. Seems really stupid that my passenger can't change our destination without stopping on the side of the road.

Highroller - can you tell I've only had the car for 2 days?

I didnt even think of using voice control for the NAV. I appreciate the suggestion - hopefully its good at recognizing commands!
