Hey All:

I'm trying to get a hold of the service manual for the E Coupe. I understand that it's available online on a website that mercedes' own website links to. However, it is a subscription service and seemingly, you'd have to download the whole thing and print to prevent yourself from having to pay to look at it again.

Anyone in possession of a service dvd or with a fast enough connection to download the whole manual within a short period so that the people on the board can all benefit when needed, and potentially split the cost?

Hi, just wandering if you ever found the manual? I am also looking for one as my coupe is now out of warranty and so i need to fix some issues but not manual will make it hard.

You can buy all of the manuals for all models from various people on Ebay. Mercedes manuals and parts catalogues/wiring diagrams are all electronic and operate in real time. However you end up depending on the supplier of the software to gain access and install. One of the major major drawbacks is the fact that Java keeps on updating and as soon as it does your "paid for" version of does not work unless of course you go back to the original seller to "help to re-install" the software access.
I have all of Mercedes software on my laptop, but cannot gain access to it because Java has been updated or Mercedes themselves have moved to a later revision, as I mentioned they operate the software in real time....
Plus the Mercedes software is a massive program ie X Gb of data and takes a lot of room to store.
Another point is that once it is all installed it is not an easy program to get to problem solve issues on your car and in many cases is not that detailed particularly when dismantling to replace something........
All being said it is better than nothing.
