2018 S63 Sedan and 2012 E350 Cabriolet
2012 or 2013 E350 Cab
Hi All,
Need a little advice here.
I do understand that we are getting new engine in 2012 (plus some additional new features). In addition, I do understand that one should give a year or so to new generation so that any known issues are resolved.
Having said that, although not a new generation, E350 Cab is indeed getting a new engine in 2012. Does it imply that we may be better off giving the new engine a year to settle down and go for 2013 instead?
Or, would you say we should be safe to go with 2012.
Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!

Why wait? There isn't going to be anything like that to go wrong with an engine that Mercedes is rolling out across the board now. The new V6 is going into everything for 2012 so if there are any issues it will be handled quickly. No reason to think that there will be any.
