So, a friend of mine have its Coupe on the dealer installing the 63AMG brakes(front & rear). My question is: Can the AMG brakes slowdown the car? What are the weight diferences between the stock drilled discs that the 207 get and the C63AMGs ones?
Thnks in advance.

Quick answer to that is yes they will slow the car down better but only as long as the tires are up to the job as well.
As for the weight differences I have no idea.

Thnks for the answer Nab, but I got confused what are we talking about... I'm talking about accelaration and top speed, not on braking distance and braking efficiency.

Ahh I figured you were on about how it would affect the braking, I've no idea on acceleration but I'd lean towards it making no real difference. You'd only know if you got a stop watch out and did comparative 0-60 or 0-100 runs on a private piece of road.
