2005 E-500
Order in: E-550 Coupe
Members: Have not been around for awhile, but today I ordered a 2012 E 550 Coupe. This is the replacement for a 2005 E500 sedan with which I have had a nearly flawless 6 year run. Time for an update and change. Always wanted a coupe. Conflicted over V6 or V8, but could not resist the V8 even though I am a senior citizen.
Very pleased to learn that the order period is 8-9 weeks, as opposed to 12 in 2005. Looking for an early December delivery.
Facts: Lunar Blue (confirmed when I saw the color in the show room); Black Leather; Premium 1; Partronic; AMG Appearance Package; Wood trim; Lane Tracking.
This forum was very useful in the past and look forward to exchanging information/ideas again.

You ordered (almost) the same car we did! My wife saw the Lunar Blue and loved it.
The dealer was able to slot our E550 in place of an E350 that was already scheduled. We're also hoping for a December delivery.
My only regrets: no 19" wheels, 4M, or limited slip available as an order option (in the USA).

Hey Larry, congrats! I placed my order last month. Black over black, P2 and a bunch of other cool stuff. Been told it's being built on the 15th of this month. Should see it in early December as well.

4M 350 is coming in the 2nd quarter in case you prefer to change your order and wait.
