2012 E550 Cab
19's or 18's for rear

Am ordering a set of wheels for my fresh E550 cab and was wondering if there might be some advantage to going with 19'' in the rear as opposed to sticking with the 18's. As always your comments are appreciated.

wider rears look awesome as hell....and more grip too eh?

amg wheels are os 45 and 54, which means u need 1.2cm and 1.5cm spacers to fill nearly to the arches, i am using 265mm michelin ps2 on the rear on 19inch AMG V multispokes

Do you mean keep 18s for the front but 19s for the rear?

If so, it will look quit good but will kill your handling and ride - car will be unbalanced with 1/2" shorter rear sidewall if you use stock diameter, or rear will be 1" taller diameter if you'll use same sidewall hight front and rear tires.

Cars that do use taller rears, from the factory, are designed for that and use different front and rear diameter wheels with tires. Not for Mercedes though.
