OK, So Lower It Is!
Decided to lower my A207. Seem there's a bunch of opinions as to the best way to go. I want to lower the car maybe .75-1.0" wondering what's the best option given the current consensous. Seems most of the spring offerings are not progressive although I like that approach. Do I need to get the lower rear spring seats, 5mm? Also relative ride quality is a big consideration as I've used up some of the forgiveness by going to 19's. I am not going for the lowest car on the block look just want to get rid of the 4X4 appearance. So I guess somewhere in the middle of the road.
Really don't want to spend the cash on coilovers. So, as always, you comments and suggestion would be most appreciated.
Tnx

I have 20 inch wheels on my car currently riding at stock height. I will be installing my H&R springs tomorrow. I will post before and after picks for you. The H&Rs are rated at 1.0 inch front and back and from my past experience with other cars is a very mild drop that I believe you are looking for.

As I have an E550 cab the weight difference to the E350 coupe is about 420 lbs. I'm not sure how to translate your results to my condition. Although it might give me some indication as what might be expected. I don't have enough experience with these things as to know if that weight difference is significiant to performance and vehicle height. In any case, looking forward to seeing what the numbers look like.
