I think that could work yes, I have just been out to have a look at my old boxes and tips plus current boxes and I think that would be okay it should fit - the only difference between the E350 rear box and the E500 is the pipe exit because of the oval / trapezoidal tips

Who would pay this much money for an exhaust that was designed on a diesel? I've never understood how a bit of pipe can cost $3K. My local german tuner was willing to do a full custom exhaust system for $1K and if it didn't show gains they'd do it for free.
