ECU tune for E550 Coupe
Car : 2010 Mercedes- Benz E550 coupe
I was looking around the Net for a ECU tune. I saw on RENNtech they had a ecu tune but i was amazed because they want $1,499. I understand you get what you pay for but that seems like a lot to reprogram my ECU.
I also wanted to get the top speed limiter off.
Does anyone know if they have software out there to tune your ECU.
Is that a DIY type job or do i really need to know cars to do a tune myself.
Does anyone know of any place that does this for cheaper or do you get what you pay for?
I live in Washington DC.

Research their reputation and don't base your decision on price only, IMHO.
I'd never try this myself.

I had a Kleemann tune. It changed the character of the car but didn't necessarily improve things. Being the 1st class outfit they are, they were happy to oblige with a refund, minus shipping costs.
