the 12 MY 550's have bigger brakes if I remember the pics I've seen.. so they would look good with the red calipers, the pre 12MY cars have smaller brakes and in turn smaller calipers.. there is one round here with red calipers and black wheels and it is not a good look if anything it emphasises how small the brakes look.

efan and gavrocool have both got the Brembo BBKs on theirs and they look amazing, but they have bigger brakes so it will always look amazing.

the appearance package brakes are still pretty beefy pre-12. im talking about the ones with the black mb plate on the top of them. i think that leaving that plate as-is and painting the rest of the caliper would be hot.

anyone done this?

PS I would probably only do the fronts, rears are pretty weak looking

Yeah, I have those too.. and they're what I've seen it done on and it didn't look all that I'll see if I can dig a picture of it up!
