BUMP....anyone gotten this resolved?
I saw on another thread where someone said they got their software for engine and transmission updated to the latest and it runs like a totally different vehicle? anyone heard of anything like this?
I was planning on taking the car into the dealer to get the comand software updated so I have the bluetooth audio but is there a such thing as engine and transmission update?

UPDATE- I've heard it may be the fuel injectors. I'm going to take mine in and have them check the injectors to see if that is the cause. Anyone else taken theirs in and gotten results?

Hi there,
I've just purchased a 2010 E550 coupe (great car) and noticed this too.
I've also noticed when traveling at speed 50+ mph and pressing the accelerator lightly the car almost seemed to stall - felt like it wasn't sure what gear to be in.
Trip to the dealers I suspect - just be nice to have a clearer idea of the issue(s) first.

E550 Coupe
I just started noticing this recently on my coupe. It's really subtle and feels like there's a diesel truck beside you when stopped a light. I put it into neutral and it's much worse, almost feels like the engine's choking a little. Also noticed a lack of power.
It started after I ran my tank really close to empty, so maybe it picked up some sludge from the bottom of the tank and partially clogged an injector?!? I tried Techron injector cleaner in the tank and it didn't do much.

I think I found the issue to the shaking and (almost) feeling of stalling in my car - I'll test if for a few more days, but notably better today after fixing. The issue...
Decided to check out my air filters and discovered a shocking amount of debris in there! All of that is a combination of both left and right side air filters. Sorry for the iPhone pictures.
When I took my car to the dealer, they claimed they found nothing wrong with the car (no error codes, etc) and said they would have to drive it with a computer hooked up to diagnose. I guess they didn't check the air filter, although I did have them change the oil and oil filter.

C55 AMG
Damn that's a lot of debris! I just bought a used 70K mile C55 AMG and it does the rocking when idle as well. Its pretty bad that when my door is open, it actually swings it a bit
Another car guy was telling me it could be the spark plugs / coil packs being bad that doesn't fire the same on all cylinders thereby not exploding the same way. I dunno, i'll try to change the plugs myself and see if that makes a difference.
Where do I check for hydraulic fluid as somebody stated before? Does my car even use that to stabilize my engine since its a 2005?
