Does anyone know when the E Cabriolet will be refreshed?

The Eclass sedan gets a major refresh for MY 2014 so I'd imagine the coupe & cab may be around the same time

The answer to your specific question is a qualified no. Sedan, spring of '14 ... wagon, summer of '14 ... AMG and 4Matic, fall of '14. No current ref's to either coupe or cabrio.

Usually the coupe and cabriolets get refreshed a year later. Do you know if Mercedes is still keeping to this schedule? I want to put in an order for a 2013 E550 Cabriolet, but I would hate it if it just gets refreshed a year later (I'm hoping for a bit more longevity). Thanks.

You'd probably have to check with your local dealer for an answer to this question, but I'm willing to bet anything they tell you couldn't/wouldn't be quantitative. The figures I cited are for European models, so it's probably safe to assume the U.S. refreshed models probably won't be seen here until CY 15 (like the refreshed Audi's that come here as MY '13's that were European MY '12's). I'm basically in the same position regarding wanting something that won't be 'refreshed' a year later, so I'm now in a holding pattern. You might try contacting MB USA (via the website). They might not be very forthcoming, but they were very accurate when I asked them about the possibility of adding 4Matic variants to the C/E Coupes ... to include the release timeframe.

Thank you for the help. I will check with MBUSA, but I went ahead and preconfigured a MY13 Black/Black-Red Leather and Black Top E550 Cab. If I kept waiting, I'd probably drive myself insane, so I just took the plunge. The car should arrive late July/Early August.
