BAD TIMES!!
anyone know how to repair carbon fiber???
hit a fox last nite......not that hard he survived and ran off luckily .
but he made his mark : (
hes smashed the carbon blade on my Carlsson front lip.
other than rubbing it down filling it in and spraying it gloss black i was wondering if anyone new how to fix carbon.

Tut tut, Fox hunting is banned in the UK mate. You should know better.
Seriously though, that just looks like the clear coat has been cracked? You can probably have it wet sanded and polished. Where are you located? I know a guy in Milton Keynes who is very good with this type of stuff, he's also an authorized BMW collision repairer so top quality.

gutted about that mate but its not all lost, have seen carbon that looks worse that has been repaired to be like new my local bodyshop that do all my work can do it - wet sand and polish as stated.
Most "detailers" that are as good as they claim to be should be able to do it as well, depending on the clearcoat damage depth it could need an extra layer of that but will fix up I'm sure

ill have a go at the wet sand and polish but im guna have to get some clear coat because there is a little piece missing that has gone right down to the weave.

finally had a chance to fix my splitter.
the carbon repair didnt work as it was too badly damaged so fixed it an respayed it metalic black but kept the v shaped strut carbon.

Haha gotta finish this one first mate. Got new rear end im wrkin on today. Ill post pics later.
See im not sure if i prefer our shape to the new ones. The juries still out in that spose its a car you have to see in person and go wow!

haha i wana leaver my car outside his house accidently on purpose now.
every pic iv put on the forum so far has been dirty car flexin'. would you beleve i washed the car the day before i took these pics?!?!
