Service A - $219!!!???
I'm at my dealer right now for my 10,000 mile service and they've got me doing:
Service A - $99
AC Filter - $125
is this right? I thought it was just Service A, no air filter BS. I don't even want to know what happens at 20K miles....should have bought that BMW!

That is certainly at the low range for an A service. The B service is in the $500.00 range but it is more involved with brake fluid change and more filters. It also includes a comprehensive inspection in both cases. Keep in mind that these cars use around 8 liters of oil for an oil change and the price of synthetic oil is double the price of mineral oil.
In the big picture, I think it is fair value. If you want to see abusive pricing, have a Porsche serviced at a Porsche store.

Web site lists prepaid maintenance for 3 years/30K (a,b,c) for $805 for E550, $769 for E350.
You can prepay for any option right up to the time you do service A, which is what I plan to do...

I also recently had a Service A on my E350 Coupe at my Mercedes dealer, and it was $250.
I think for regular services at the dealers, many major European car brands are very competitive nowaday.
It is if we have any unscheduled non-warranted service, that is the time when the dealers eat our wallet alive

I just had the two year service done on my Porsche. That is the equivalent of the B service. The price $789.00 including taxes. You may have a more reasonable dealer. I did not get a loner car but was offered a ride home. Dealing with those assh***s is like having a root canal.
