Hi, Had my car in for a B1 service this week, it is a very late 2010 model, whilst in I asked them to update all of the software to the latest revisions, both engine and transmission, plus Sat Nav.
I have to say it seems to have transformed the car, so much smoother and responsive!! Cannot work out if it is psychosomatic as I had a 4 cylinder E220 as the loan car for 2 days, will have to see how things progress, as I was also concerned about consumption, which I felt appeared quite poor for the car!!! My BMW V8 4.4 ltr was marginally poorer in consumption by comparison as my driving style has not altered.
