E350 Cabriolet AMG Conversion
Looking to do a sensible AMG appearance upgrade to my 2011 E350 Cabriolet (A207) Starting with the front of the car what is suggested? I can purchase the MB AMG front bumpers or go with Revozport or Carllson. In the case of the after market tuning products when you buy an AMG bumper will it fit a non-AMG car like mine? I am very impressed with the variety (and quality) shown in this forum and I'm looking to add just a touch to get things started. I lean towards the carbon fiber look. I love the design of the Vorsteiners but I can't find anything for the A207 or W207.I promise to document the process as I do this.
My first stage is a bi-xenon upgrade to the headlights. A few things I've learned so far:
1) The true Mercedes part for a A207 use Permaseal to glue the parts which most quality tuners won't touch because it just doesn't come apart nicely.
2) You are better off using a cheaper factory OEM product with a easier seal to bake apart.
3) Placing a bi-xenon bulb in a Halogen projector is not a good idea as the halogen projector is optimized for the halogen bulb.
4) Using genuine MB parts for a bi-xenon upgrade will cost enough to trade your car in on a new one![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
5) I'm hoping to use carbon fiber wrap on the light mod so it matches the front grille parts and lip on the bumper. Hey, if I have to spend to open them up then lets do some very cool stuff here.
I'll keep posting...

I guess I could be clearer![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Where can you buy an AMG body package to fit a 2011 E350 A207 cabriolet?
It was available as an option in 2011.
Thanks

To upgrade to a code 772 AMG styling you will need the following parts:
6-6-03-6521 AMG Front Bumper
6-6-03-6524 AMG Rear bumper
6-6-03-6537 AMG Side skirts
Does not include the LED DRL lights and grilles. I added them from the older round fog and halogen DRL on the early 2011 E350 cabo.
Pictures to follow.
