E550 coupe tire size 255/40 instead of 255/35

Stock size is 255/35/18
can I put 255/40/18 ?
will it cause any issue ?

I dont think so.. just taller.. it will affect yoru MPG readings slightly and your speedometer.. but nothing drastic.
go to tirerack.com and it will tell you the difference in height.
Since the wheels are so pushed in.. there is not going to be an issue.
But always.. buy and try them.. if you don't like the look see if you can return them.

It is ok.In 2010 when i bought my coupe i was running 17"s and borrowed a set of 18"s from a CL class and the set up was 255/40/18.It was ok but the car looked taller,you won't have a nice look.
