Michelin Pilot Sport AS-3's are in.
I have been waiting for this tire to become available for a few month's now. They finally shipped and I put them on today. After driving all afternoon, I can report that they offer a very comfortable and quiet ride, and superior performance to my old Pilot Sport 2's that I replaced. I like the fact that they offer near Pilot Super Sport performance without the sacrafices. In some of the other posts, I noticed the topic of straight line wheelspin being a problem with the TT motor. It was for me with the PS2's, even from a rolling start. The AS3's do not spin, although I only tried from a rolling start. I went with the 285/30/19 rear with 45 offset. Fittament is tight but clears with no problem. I have not lowered the car. So far, I'm very happy. America's tire offers a $100 rebate through tomorrow. They were not as expensive as I thought they might be; $235 for front, $280 for rear, plus balancing and tax, less the $100 rebate.

right now i'm leaning towards the Mich PSP (super sports)..
i'll look intot he AS-3..
.. not sure if I had the need for more all season.. but if I can get both (all season and performace) would be worth a look.
The PSP are priced about the same...

Anybody have experience with the Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position? They are the highest-rated on TireRack.com and I've been seriously debating going to these soon.

I heard great things about the Bridgestone's as well. They were my second choice, only because I was looking for a more quiet ride along with performance. I would have gotten the Pilot Super Sports had they been offered in the 285 rear. They only offer 275, which is what my Pilot Sport 2's were, and the rim was a bit wider than the tire. I like the look much more with the 285 on the 9.5"/45et rim. I really like these tires.
