Looking into 2014 e350 coupe

So I've had a few BMWs, got bored and then leased a 2013 Lexus gs350 in April. It's not what I really want and am considering switching over to a e350 coupe. I've never had a Benz before so I'm not sure how to negotiate. The car I'm interested in has an msrp of $65k. With BMW it was simple, many dealers are willing to sell for invoice + $500 - any incentives/rebates. Is Mercedes the same? Where do I find the current incentives? What's a realistic price for this car?

What's new for 2014? I read that it's a mid cycle refresh, so anything important new?

This car has the comfort seats, how do they compare to the BMW comfort seats? Extendable thigh extension? Upper half of the back moves independently? Is the ventilation just that or does it actually cool?

Thanks for any help

2010 MB 350i Coupe P2 WD
I sold BMW 2010 550i M SPort 33k miles and bought 2010 E350 coupe 23k miles , almost the same money
I also tried last years BMW 335i but didn't like it much , empty car with 300HP engine
MB P2 has all options same to loaded BMW except of head up display but you have this head up
on a cluster if you need ( NAV )
MB has much better build quality + attentions to small details is outstanding
MB ventilation seat is really cool and its actually cool as well
MB do not have crappy ZF transmission issues which BMW never addressed ( one of the reasons why i sold my 550i )
MB Multi-Contour Seats > BMW Sport seats
MB V6 is not so fast as BMW V8 but still has enough power to have fan and if you want V8 go for 550
Overall MB > BMW but i still keep old school BMW E39 for fun , this is from the guy who drove BMW for the last 6 years
Drive one and feel the difference , if you like it dealer can easily drop $2-3k off msrp
GL

2012 E350 coupe
The main things new for 2014 are the headlight assembly (headlights now a single unit with integrated LED daytime running lamps) and the location of the gear selector (now on driving column). If you're not set on these changes, you might be able to negotiate a better deal on leftover 2013 inventory.

I have a 2012 E350 coupe, and love it. The ventilation on the seats works very well. The multicontour seats are very supportive. The car does not handle quite like a BMW, but to me it's the perfect balance between luxury, comfort, and sportiness. Agree with champaign777 that you should check out the E550 coupe if you need more power and are willing to sacrifice a little mpg.

P.S. I think the car is better looking and more reliable than both the BMW 3 coupe and the Audi S5.

Thanks for all the info. I found a 13 that I'm interested in with an msrp of 62K. What price should I be aiming for? Also do the 13s have lines in the rear view camera?

Does Mercedes use the multiple security deposit like BMW?

Don't know about the 2013s, but the 2012s do not have lines in the rear view camera. I've not found it to be an issue. Also seats do not extendable thigh extensions, to answer a question from your original post.

I'm by no means an expert negotiator and so much depends on the particular dealership, but I would think you could get $2K off MSRP or maybe have the dealer throw in some prepaid maintenance. Good luck.

2013 E350 Coupe
I have a 2013 E350 coupe that I bought 2 months ago. In So Cal I got my car for $3k under invoice ($58k MSRP) because the 2014s had already arrived. I looked at the 2014s on the lot and preferred the interior of the 2013, but the headlights on the 2014 are really nice.

With the 2014s out, you should get a 2013 for at least $10K off. About the multiple security deposits, I think you can use them, I know BMW really tries to offer you the multiple security deposits but I've never been offered to use MSDs from MB.
