just so you know, there are conservative people on this website, most will tell you it wont be possible. it all depends on how you set it up. it would be best to install coilovers first, then you can dial in the ride height to fit the wheels.
18x9 will look very small. in order to make those fit you will need to run a 225/40/18 and it will look weird on the c207 chassis.
if you are going to order work wheels, then think more about the size and offset. below is a good starting point. math is your friend.

I was searching for the stock winter wheel size for 2012 couple/cab manual today to see if my 8 x17 et45 winter wheels from my 2011 E350 wagon will fit the 2012 Cabriolet.
I would appreciate it if someone could take a peak at their manual and tell me what the recommended winter wheel size is. A photo of the relevant page would be a bonus.
