Is this a good deal? 2011 E350 coupe
However, I don't want to be fleeced by the dealership. The sales person kept saying they're losing money on this vehicle and they wouldn't budge with the price - won't even give a couple of hundred dollar discount.
The good thing is it's a CPO and there's a 2-year pre-paid maintenance.
Any thoughts/advice appreciated, thanks!

Yeah the dealership was saying that the cars at Texascardirect.com don't come with the CPO warranty / 160 point inspection / etc etc.
There's also a $1,200 2 payment credit if financed by Mercedes at 1.74% auto debit rate.
they're also offering a 2 year pre-paid maintenance.
This way you'll have a total of 6 years from in service date and unlimited warranty - this alone is worth between $3,000 - $4,000.
And like the earlier reply - make an offer - the worst is they say no - there are literally 1,000's of E350's between 2010 - 2013 for sale.
I traded my 2010 E350 White Sport sedan in for a CLS550 in June at Fletcher Jones in Newport Beach about a month before the values took a hit.
I got $32,500 for my trade with 28,500 miles and it had 10 months left on the original factory warranty.
All in all - with the perks and hopefully the 2 year extended warranty thrown in the price is not bad at all.
But - if you want the 550 - the 2012 is the way to go as well as the 350 since both models had significant engine upgrades for these years.
THE GALVES MARKET READY REAL WORLD TRADE IN VALUE FOR THIS E350
$29,150 - not including the CPO - The 2 payment credits or the services.
Go for it - OR shop and research for a 2012 E350 Coupe as the GALVES Values
are at $34,675 without CPO etc.
Galves pricing above as described as MARKET READY
Market Ready: Representative of a vehicle that needs no reconditioning mechanically or cosmetically. Excellent wheels and tires. All systems have been inspected and are operating optimally. No evidence of previous paintwork or vehicle history issues. Excellent service records and service history. A vehicle that would qualify for certification. It might well be thought of as what a consensus of interested dealers would consider reasonable to pay for a front line ready vehicle. Only the most exceptional consumer-owned vehicles being traded to such a dealer would fall into this category.
But from the looks of the front bumper I don't think this car has P2 - as it would include headlight washers and I don't see the cut outs below each headlight.
Also - all Coupes come standard with leather covered seating surfaces and I'm not sure but ventilated seats might have been a separate option on the 2011.
I got a 2014 E350 Coupe for my wife on 11/4 - every option except Distonic and I'm looking at the original MSRP and heated and Active ventilated seats are a separate option at $450

dkchips - that's some really good info, thanks.
I went to texasdirectauto today, it was filled with people. I don't know why it's so popular!
Anyway, test drove a 2012 E350 with 18k miles. Selling for $39,980 thought it was a good deal.

Later found out that the passenger power seats were broken. Funny that they listed the vehicle as "vehicle has been inspected". The salesperson promised that they always do the right thing. He mentioned a story about someone buying a vehicle from them only to find out that it had rust damage. He said they did right by him.
Not sure if I want to go through all that just to save $2k-$3k. I mean what if the warranty expires and I find out something was broken right after that.
First of all if you buy from Texas cars direct or Ecarone and even if you get a good price you don't have a CPO warranty and if you went to Mercedes to buy one you would spend $2500-$4000 to get warranty
Add in the up to $1200 to the car payment rebate from Mercedes and also consider the value of two services it's worth about $1100
On top of that Mercedes in order to have see POS to make sure all the tires are close to new the brake pads and rotors and everything else has to check out perfectly it wouldn't be any broken seats of switches on the CPO vehicle that you're looking at
In order to bring any Ecarone or Texas cars direct car up to the specs of the CPO with all be the perks you would have to spend about $7500 case closed
Ok the black on black was sold. Someone bought it for $34k.
Here is another car I'm looking at

Looks like a great deal - $38k for a steel grey with 27k miles. What do you guys think?

you're right, i'm going with the CPO. didn't have a good experience at texasdirectauto
When you outside of the Mercedes dealers and you buy a used Mercedes you take the risk of it coming from the auction or just someone trading it in that trashed it
Run the numbers yourself and see that the CPO tMercedes is such a much better deal than the one at Texas cars direct or that other dealer don't make the mistake of buying outside of the Mercedes CPO

I'm thinking of holding out for another black ext on black int 2011 e350 coupe. I just think black on black is more impressive than the steel grey. I don't mind cleaning the thing at all, it'll be garage kept!
