I'm making a new front bumper for my CLS and one of the things I'm tweaking on it is the grill size. The W219 grill is too small IMO and I think the grill from the 2010-2014 E coupes will give it the proportions I'm after.
I measured a 2014 at the MB dealer yesterday and it was 34" wide by 10" tall which is perfect. The readily available grills however are for the 10-13 models and they appear to be similar in size.
Would one of you gentlemen mind measuring your grill for me this morning or afternoon ? I need to know how wide it is at its widest part (at the top with the tape measure straight) and how tall the opening is at its tallest ( in the center)

The facelifted 2014+ E series grille is not the same size as the pre-facelifted grilles. (I tried it)
