Best way to light a car for photography (or film) is with a lot of diffuse light from above. Also a light colored car shows the lines off better.

Gorgeous photos!! Any particular reason you decided to take them? Kinda like new baby photos? The overhead views are spectacular. Accomplished on a ladder? Approximately how much did the shoot cost?
