Coffee Cup Icon in Speedometer?
My next door neighbor just purchased a very low mileage 2013 E350 Cabriolet. Knowing that I have a 2010 E350 coupe he asked me if I knew what the "coffee cup" icon in the speedometer display meant.
I told him that I was not sure I had that in my car.
I checked today and sure enough at about the 8 o'clock position there is what looks like a small coffee cup when the engine is on. I looked through my owners manual for about 20 minutes and could not find anything about the coffee cup icon.
Does anyone know what this is for or what it means?

'13 E550 Cabriolet
It's the driver alert warning letting you know it is on, but just monitoring, NOT warning. It was on in my '13 when purchased, no help from here on what it was. I did find it in the manual and turned it off using the controls on the steering wheel.

The coffee cup icon is a form of safety warning when ur driving an falling a sleep it's make the steering wheel vibrates to keep u alert on the road , for u not to run off road or into another lane an cause an accident the car adapts to ur driving so it's knows when ur sleepy or tired. The icon will come up in the dash saying !!! Put over an get a cup of coffee.

No coffee cup
Since I have shut off my coffee cup which was with the attention assist off deployment ... my car has been much less troublesome and I'm actually getting attached to it quite a bit ...
