2011 E350 Cabriolet
What actual model year is my 2011 E350?

I am a bit confused. My car is certified by MBUSA as a model year 2011 car but my VEDOC says code 800 which is model year 2010. The car production date is 09/21/2010. So what is it really? This gets confusing as I am modding the car in some critical ways and need to know which year should be applied.

2014 E550 cabriolet and 2017 CLS 550
Look at the 10th digit of your VIN. If it's an"A" it's a 2010. If it's a "B" its a 2011. Let us know what you learn.

WDDKK5GFXBF037136 So its a "B" and a 2011 MY. I guess I should ignore the code 800 on the datacard?

Thanks for the help!

This vehicle is a model year 2010 car. This is denoted by the option code 800 in the vehicle datacard. Also it shows the build date as 19th February 2010.

The car is a model year 2010 vehicle. The 10th digit stuff is misleading.

I am still a bit confused as your report gives conflicting information. At the top of the document it indicates a 2011 model year but lists code 800 as a 2010 model year….
