Moonroof problem please help

Not sure about the MB, but every other car I've owned, had a manual over-ride to close the sun roof; hand crank, etc. Check your owners manual.
Can you hear the sun roof motor running when you try to operate? If not, try the fuse panel. If the motor runs, but the roof does not move, it is either jammed off track, or the cable came loose.
