Wiper Arms Questions
I can swipe the wiper arms freely with my hand when the engine shut down. Is this normal?
I explained this situation to the Mercedes service advisor and he told me that this was the safety feature to prevent the wiper arms to frozen up under the cold weather condition. He told me that this was the new feature from year 2013 and up.
Anybody heard of this? My car is in the shop right now for other repairs and I have a 2015 GLA loaner car. I tried it but I could not move the wiper arms with my hand because the engine was off.
Was this service advisor bull shxx? If so, what's wrong with the wiper arms? The wiper arms was still working normal when I turned them on.
