2010 E550 Coupe
2010 e550 coupe red battery light
Hi All - hope anyone can shed some light with what could be either a faulty battery or alternator...

- car starts and drives
- no power steering
- power brakes still work
- no fan blower
- red battery light appears in centre console

any ideas what this could be ?

much appreciate any insight.

I'm not an expert and I'm pretty sure you have hydraulic power steering.
Check your serpentine belt. It drives the PS pump and the alternator. Sounds like it may be slipping.
