2012 E350 Cabrio Rear Tire "Click" noise
Car has 5,000 miles on it. BTW low miles as I have other cars and only drive it when its sunny in SoCal by the beach.
When it goes from "Neutral-to-Drive" or "Neutral-to-Reverse" there is an initial click (upon touching the accelerator pedal gently) that sounds like tapping on the MB Plastic center piece - it is not a clunk. I suspected the brake calipers/ retaining spring, so I engaged the E brake to about a 25% position and it still makes the noise. The noise goes away when driving and there are no other noises.
Any ideas?
