Shifter rattle
i got a nasty rattle in my shifter area. But when I push the shifter to the right and hold it down rattle goes away. Is this a simple fix?
Had this repaired once by the dealership under warranty, called them today and said they only can repair again under warranty up to one year if I had paid for the repairs. And not got it repaired for free under warranty. Doesn't make sense to me but their rules

There should be a record of the repair process at the dealer.
Ask them to pull up the repair order and give you a copy. You can then repeat their process to fix it yourself.
