fog light to DRL's - pls help

Hey everyone!

Like many others on here, I'm going to convert my quad fog lights on my 2011 e350 coupe to the straight drls on the 2012/2013's. I've ordered the DRL's with the wires attached from Ales as many suggested, but can't seem to find the usa part numbers for the chrome molding. I've seen several conversions posts on here, but none seem to be for the non amg coupe.

I talked to the dealership and they were able to give me part numbers 2078801124/2078801224 for the outer mesh grills, but couldn't find anything on the chrome moldings. I've looked at countless parts diagrams and can only seem to find the parts for the amg grill or sedan. I have the non amg grill, pictures below to verify, and am looking for the chrome part number shown in the second picture.

Could anyone help with this as well as verify the outer mesh grill parts as what mercedes gave me seems to be generic. I believe this is all I need as the bumpers are identicle. The leds, grill mesh, and chrome moldings l. I'd really appreciate any feedback you could give and thanks in advance.

I don't think there are any DRL grille or mesh parts that will fit the non-AMG bumper. I did the conversion to my E350 but included the AMG bumper as part of the conversion.

That seems to be the case when looking for the parts, but all the 2012 usa models seem to have the non amg bumper. The second pic with the drls is non amg right? The bumpers look identical. Appreciate the help!

Yes that appears to be the straight DRL on a non-AMG (Godhand) bumper! I know from doing the same conversion that there are very few 2011 E350 Cabriolets with the Code 772 AMG bumpers and side skirts.

BTW you might consider the Morimito round DRL lights as a conversion. They are new and top notch. Available at www.retrofitsource.com

Niiice. Love the grill. Just picked the same one up in the non distronic. I had no idea they made leds for round, but oh well....I already picked up my drls.

I'm glad I'm not crazy with non amg bumper, but the chrome parts dont seem to exist. I'd imagine the amg chrome moldings can be fitted on the non amg since I can find the grill mesh.

You could also look for an aftermarket DRL from MB supplier MEC.
