Tire / Wheel Fitment Q

I know I know it's been done to death. But it's confusing too. lol

I just want a last minute check with you guys before I order tires. I have a 11 E350 COUPE.

I ordered 20" Stance SF01's and they are being shipped this week. 8.5 front, 10 rear. The shop doing the install has recommended 245/30-20 and 265/30-20 (as per Stance). They had earlier recommended 275/30-20 rear until they spoke with Stance, not sure how much of a difference there in terms of fitment.

I plan to lower with eibach pro kit. Good choice?

I've read from 3MBs about safety issues relative to tire size and load up front, and this of course concerns me, but I can find no clarity on the subject.

All the front tires I'm finding are load rated Y (1323lbs).

I checked the vehicle placard and the GVW is 2315 front, 2447 rear.

Sounds like the Y rating will cover the fronts safely correct?

Any opinions on the tire sizes? Any other preferable options?

Are the only options for these sizes high performance summer tires?

Anyone still running 20 in the winter? I don't intend to drive in the snow, but if it's not snowing, would like to drive safely.

Any input is greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

I'd suggest going with the 275/30-20 for the rear with 245/30-20 front as they originally suggested. With a 10" rim in the rear the 265 will be more stretched. You could even do a 285 in the rear (I run 285/30-19 on my Ecoupe on a 9.5" wide rim).

The load index rating should actually be a number (the letters typically indicate speed rating).

What are your offsets? I'm running same size wheel sizes with 235/35/20 tires up front (extra tall to eat up wheel gap) and 275/30/20 in rear. Key up front is to get offset right so wheel clears strut. Mine are ET35 and flush. ET50 in rear. No issues except the occasional rubbing when hitting a dip while carrying rear passengers.

What did you end up going with (offsets, size, etc.)? Pics would be great!
