eibach springs

so i got some eibach spring on my 2010 e550 coupe. Man after a couple years on them the ride is STIFF. Im thinking about going back to stock springs, but to my memory the stock ride didnt differ much from the eibach when i first installed them.

Can anyone comfirm? lol refresh my memory!

Are you on stock wheels? I didn't notice too much difference either, but there is. Ever so slightly tighter feel after the drop. The only difference is I'm dropped on H&R. When I roll with the stock wheels, it feels pretty nice haha. When I put the 20s back on, it's noticeably rougher.

I'm running 19" aftermarket wheels (Vertini RF1.1 w/ Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 tires) on the stock sport suspension on 2012 E550 Coupe and the ride comfort vs. the 18" OEM AMG wheels are pretty much the same with improved handling. So it's likely the springs, not the wheels/tires - although may depend on the amount of sidewall you have on your 19's - I have 255/35-19 front and 285/30-19 rear. I up-sized just a tad from the recommended 245/35-19 front and 275/30-19 rear specifically to get slightly more sidewall to maintain ride comfort and fill slightly wheel well gap. I was considering lowering springs but based on some of the comments in this forum such as yours on stiffer ride (and potential rub issues) I'm likely not going to go that route yet.

Too bad we didn't come across each other sooner - I recently upgraded my OEM AMG 18" wheels to 19" aftermarket wheels and I sold (very quickly) my original 18" wheels on Ebay.
