Good day.
This is my first post.
1. To introduce myself: Old guy from Tsawwassen BC with a 2012 E550 Coupe, a 2002 CLK320 (trying to sell) and a 2007 V70R Volvo. Bought the R a couple of years ago out of Bellevue WA and thought it was fast. NOTHING compared to the E550.
2. In one of the posts someone mentioned taking the "blue efficiency" emblems off the car. What does it take - just a heat-gun? Also are most of the emblems glued on or are they clipped thru holes in the body?

Best regards and I wish everyone a great Christmas and prosperous New Year.

Welcome on board. You'll really enjoy the E550. It's a great, fun drive.

I don't think any of the emblems you are looking at are attached through the body.

Thanks for the responses.
Another question:
In the operator's manual it mentions a cargo net on the left hand side of the trunk. It would be about 20" long by 8" high. Mine is missing and MB cannot find it in their parts catalogue.
Any ideas?

Congrats and welcome!

The Blue Efficiency badges and chrome side molding use adhesive / tape and can be removed fairly easily (there are several instructional videos on YouTube). Here are some before and after pics with my removal:
