Warning messages appearing- Inaccurate

After an oil service (not by me, by dealer at 40K transmission service) I occasionally am prompted with the message to check oil level at next fuel stop. The message goes away after the car is shut off and re started and the oil level is fine, actually right at max. I have also gotten message when car is first started to check coolant level, (coolant is at correct level) and that clears after a few seconds. Any ideas? Also, my hood will not close when cold! The latches will not engage at all until the car is a bit warm, so it is temp related. Very odd.

No, the car has not been wrecked. The check oil level started after the dealer changed the oil (I have changed the oil 3 times in my ownership, and have never seen this previously). The hood lines up and closes perfectly when over 30 degress F. But when cold the patches do not function. After car is running a few minutes it closes correctly. Possibly poor lubrication preventing latches from closing when cold?

First thing I'd do is check back with the service shop. Pretty obvious that their service work altered some functions. Your computer may need resetting.
