Rear cupholder cover on 2014/15 Cabriolet
The rear cupholder on the 2014 (and 2015) Cab has two sliding covers like mini roll-top desks that meet in the middle. On some of the cars I've seen, these covers are wood matching the car trim, and on others they're just black plastic. I'm having a hard time figuring out what option dictates that difference, and what else is different with that option (if anything). Was hoping it was tied to the wood steering wheel, but I've seen two with the standard steering wheel and wood covers, and one with the wood steering wheel but plastic covers.
Anyone know?

Here are pics of what I'm talking about - both 2014 E350 Cabs, black with "natural beige" interior. Both have brown burl wood and wood steering wheels.
Note the cupholder cover between the back seats:

Great observation. I've seen it both ways. I have the black plastic covers but my trim is black ash wood. I thought the wood on the covers was included with the burl wood. Maybe it was a cost savings later in the model year. Or included with the better leather package. Not a big deal either way, but good question.
