2013 E550 Coupe V8 biturbo
Newbie 3 months later

Update a couple months after purchase. Detailed the motor since its winter and not driving. Installed
AFE air filters"><span style=AFE air filters" /> AFE air filters">AFE air filters
. Removed and polished the https://mbworld.org/forums/# tips. And added the
OEM V8"><span style=OEM V8" /> OEM V8">OEM V8
biturbo decals. (a little old school like me) Looking forward to run at the dragstrip (Lebanon Valley, NY) this
season to get a baseline. Don't see many track details on this forum. Any other suggestions that you really liked for this model would be appreciated .......... __________________

My goal is to retain a very stock look and run solid 12's (12.7-8)
without a tune. Then see were I want to go from there.

Your car (ffr) looks great. How many miles ? Steel grey metallic ?

- cleaned and polished chrome exhaust tips
- installed aFR performance air filters
- added OEM V8 biturbo decals on front fender

Nawlinstornado on this forum ran 12.428 on his STOCK E550C with consistent 12.5s so mid 12s should be easy.

I'm confident mine would do low 12s (maybe even high 11s) with my stage 1 ECU tune (430 Wheel HP, 555 Wheel TQ).

Mine is Olivine Grey (also known as Stannite Grey) - pics don't do this color justice. I've got a bit over 50K miles and she runs awesome (significant performance increase post ECU tune). I also did resonator delete which gave a more aggressive sound when standing on it but kept close to stock quiet with normal driving.

I look forward to seeing pics and following your mods.

I have run most of my cars at the track and it is not easy to get into
the 12's. We will see.

Yeah that color looks great.
