US center console vs Europe on face-lifted E class
I have 2014 E350 coupe and notice a big difference in cup holder location. In US model when you have a cup in a holder, the climate control became not easy to operate.
So my question is, is that possible to change only the cup holder and ashtray in US model to be the same as in Europe or i need to change all center console for it.

I have a '14 E550 cab. It bothered me too because the European version is so much more attractive (and it's how they show the console in the brochure). I discovered that you actually can replace the cup holder with the "clean version". The dealer or a specialty (MBZ) body shop can order the parts and swap it out. I didn't get around to doing it, but I believe there was even a YouTube video showing it getting done. If you decide to do it, please post the results. Good luck!

Who would order parts without knowing? My point was that I was informed that it could be done and I offered you some tips. If I wanted to move forward, I would follow up to contact the people that do know or can find out with certainty, starting with a dealer and MBUSA and the dealer's body shop. Good luck, Dimitri.
