On a recent long trip, I was bombarded with messages from the NAVI, "Congestion on I95 Soutbound between exit X and exit Y," constantly. I could stop the message by hitting mute, and I also tried "turn off traffic messages" but could not find a permanent setting.

Is this setting somewhere else? Is it Sirrius Radio? Where is it coming from and how do I shut it off?

If you mute the sound (on the steering wheel button) while she's in mid sentence, it stops the voice immediately without interring with the navigation. Works for me on a '14 E550 Cab

I've been doing that but I was hoping there was a way to turn off her messages for the entire trip.

When you are using navigation, go to traffic and uncheck Automatic read messages...something like that

For some reason that does not seem to be working.
