Adding another Mercedes to the garage after loving our W210 Wagon. (Even with a rear window regulator coming in the mail :-/)

Really like the gauge cluster on the 2010 to 2013's. Not a fan of the 2014 (just personal taste)

Like the M272 engine (related to the engine I am already familiar with) but thinking the M276 could be noticeably smoother, better sounding and sportier as well as a bit more efficient.

Any opinions as to differences in how the cars drive, reliability or other considerations? A few 2011's are dipping into the high 20's for low mileage pristine examples. The 2012 seems to be about a $6,000 price jump.

Thank you for your observations and opinions.

'12 and later have the direct injected engine, more power, better economy. You are going to love this convertible. WARNING- Don't drive the TTV8 (M278), you will raid your emergency funds to make up the difference, but it is so worth it.

Thank you for your replies. The M278 sounds amazing. It is out of my price range. I am wondering if the M276 is smoother running & sounds better than the M272 (90 degree V6) or if the M272 has some sort of magic in the crank and balance shaft arrangement (that makes it just as smooth as a 60 degree V6).

... there is amazingly high demand for the 2011 and 2012's. Getting a lot of "thank car got sold, thank you for calling."
