Angry E350 cdi too rough on bumps

Hi guys, I bought E coupe 350 cdi (2009) last month and replaced my CLK 500 (2003) because of consumption. However i am slightly disappointed with cars suspension/geometry/springs (i don't even know what to blame). On the smooth road car drives great, but when it comes to potholes and broken roads it is terrible. It feels like suspension is working 110%, it makes rough sounds, it is bumpy and feels really bad (like some part is going to break really soon). I got car checked in MB service and in my friends car service and both said that everything is fine (no movement of parts, no suspension leaks). Is it just what this car is or what could be the problem? I have 18''wheels (1,5 cm spacer front and 2 cm in back), no airmatic. Car is also not very stable in high speed cornering. What can I do to solve this problem? Or is this model supposed to be like this? Thank you very much. Btw CLK was 7 years older but driving felt much better even when it did not have AMG packet or Sport packet.

AMG or SPORT package does make it a bit stiffer compared to luxury package. E coupes are known to have a harsher ride as compared to sedan or even an older W209.

but it shouldnt make any rough sounds or anything like youre describing. i have 20's on my coupe and it surprisingly rides better compared to when it had 18s stock. i know as the mrs daily drives the coupe and she couldnt be happier.

Thanks for reply. Could it be somehow connected with the wheel spacers? And what about cornering, shoul I buy some H&R or Eibach kit to make it better in high speeds or will it be even more rough on bumps then?

lowering your car will compromise ride comfort but will definitely handle better especially when cornering.
