guys i need your advice
hello guys, im from w204 c350 forum and want your advice about new car choice
im selling my c350 right now and i think of getting new merc.
have 2 cars in my mind , c63 and e550 biturbo, and i cant choose between of them. i like biturbo engine and its potential , and NA 63 i like too cuz its NA
so guys plase tell me cons and pros of both cars and id like to listen your thoughts , mb you will advice better option .

5 years ago I bought a 2010 C63 and the wife bought a 2012 E550 coupe. We still have both cars. I still love the C63 and it's a blast to drive. The ride is a little harsh compared to the E550, but I knew that when I bought it. The throttle control is much better than the E550 with the bi-turbo.
The E550 is fast, but not nearly as composed at handling as the C63. Also, at 6 feet tall I find the head room lacking though others have said it's no problem for them. I would never pick the E550 coupe as my daily driver, but the wife love it.
You need to drive them both and see which is for you.

I had the same delimma about 18 months ago, gas mileage was the big sell for me. Have a pretty hefty commute and (for what it is) the TTV8 actually gets pretty good mileage, pretty similar to the 04 e320 i switched from.

If you were talking about current models, i'd go with the C63 sedan or coupe as I think they look great. The older models look good too, but for me the rear just doesn't look great to me, so that would have me lean towards the E550. That was the choice I made at least.

It's just not that simple when speaking of the two cars you mention. Proof is that many of us were deciding between the two cars in question, and in this forum, we chose the E. Some choose the C.
With a tune on the E550 V8TT, you can get 500+ hp. Nothing to sneeze at. Most options come standard on the E550 as well.
Again, if you are shopping the new models, the new C63s are badass and would be my choice. If we are talking the previous generation C63s, I'd lean towards the E coupe very slightly.
