2013 E350 Cabrio
Hey all,
Wife's 2014 C250 lease is coming up and she's getting bit by the convertible bug. I personally think convertibles are way overpriced new, so I showed her and moved her in the direction of a used E350 convertible.
I've landed on a 2013 E350 as a sweet spot because it seems like you can get one for not too many miles (30k-40k) for under $30k. She also likes the dual headlight style more than the facelift version, which helps our wallet so I'm not complaining!
Are there any recurring issues or mechanical gotchas about this specific year convertible that I should know about? I hesitate to go further back than 2013 as it seems they did some nice interior upgrades in 2013 ahead of the general exterior facelift. This would be our fifth Benz so I'm aware that - as long as you keep up with maintenance - they are generally reliable.
I appreciate your thoughts!

2014 E550 Cabriolet, 2014 Porsche Cayenne Diesel
These cars are fairly reliable. They are probably the best convertibles you can buy for the money. I've had my '14 E550 cab for 2.5 years. Issues included early brake rotor warping (actually from new) replaced under warranty and a noise in the steering column that was also corrected. No other issues in the last two years. If you can swing it, look for a used V8, you will not regret digging for the few extra bucks. Just the V8 burble is worth the extra coin.
