I've had my car since July 2016 and put about 11,000 miles on it during that time and I've noticed that the transmission really holds a gear a long time when it is in sport mode. Like I'll take a corner at normal speed and it will downshift to 3rd or 2nd on the approach and then as I'm accelerating out of the corner it will hold the gear until 3,000 rpms even though I'm barely touching the throttle.


Is this normal?


Car is a 2014 E550 Coupe with sport package. It has about 35k miles on it currently.
