On my '11 550 coupe, the button on the mirror will open the garage door but not close it. The opener is a Sears "Craftsman" - a name that used to mean something good. Thanks

Could be the Homelink. My new E coupe would not program period. After many failed tries, I am using my old clicker. There are other owners having the same issue. I will see the dealer when others things pop up which I am certain they will.

Appears to be a short range issue. It will close the door if I push the button when the car is in the garage or just barely outside of the garage.
