New E Coupé and a first question
Hi,
I hope this is the right place to post this, couldn't find a forum for the new gen yet
At the beginning of April I picked up my new E220d Coupé in Canvasit Blue. Beautiful car inside and out, and so incredibly comfortable.

As for the question: I would like to install a dashcam, but can't really see a good way to get power to it. I don't like running a wire all around the windscreen, over the dash and then over the centre console to then have to open the storage cubby so I can access the 12V plug.
I was wondering if there's an ignition switched live near the mirror that could be used? And how easily does it all come apart? I don't really feel like ruining the interior already :P
I did ask in the dealership, and they told me they don't have an official dashcam, so I'll have to do it myself. No problem with that, my other car is a '99 Range Rover so I have no problem working on vehicles.

While I don't have the answer to your question, I can say that your car is beautiful! I have a '14 E550 cab in the same color (in the USA the color is called "Lunar Blue"). I get many compliments on how good looking the car is and I'm sure you will, too. Congratulations!
