Need an OEM Tristar Grille Emblem!!
I had no idea people still did this, but I recently had the emblem on my grille stolen of my 2010 E550! I've looked online for a replacement and have run into a dilemma. A lot of places online sell the emblem and bracket, problem is the bracket that holds the emblem is a solid plastic piece and not vented like the original. Also Diagrams I've looked up show 3 items (Emblem, Emblem plate? emblem bracket) and videos I've looked up on how to replace the emblem just show that it's 2 items (emblem and emblem bracket). If anyone knows where to get an OEM replacement, without having to go to a dealership and get swindled $300USD for a plastic part, please let me know? Also if anyone could verify the amount of pieces are actually in the assembly that would be great as well. It's getting a bit embarrassing to be driving around a nice car with a huge hole in the front.

Corrected. Star should be part # 2078170016 ($59.90 https://www.mbdirectparts.com/), support 2078880260 ($24.20) also check https://parts.com - see image. Again, private mail or post VIN for part # confirmation.

You might have miss understood konigstiger, I need the info clarification and emblem on the grille infront of my car not the flat badge that goes on the hood. I've attached an image for clarification.
