Rustproofing

Hi guys! This is our first MB and a cabriolet. Since day 1 on all our others cars, we always did the rustproofing on them. This car will never see winter. Is it recommended to rustproof this car? I don't recall seeing a problem with MB having rust but want to have this car for a loooooooong time. Thanks in advance.

I think cars these days are rustproofed from factory.

Should I just spray under the car, like the floor?
