Saw this on a few of the newer cars and decided to order it...showed up and was a little more work than I thought it would be. Looks good though!

I used a small punch to push the old emblem out by the posts, didn't take pics...but if u pop the hood and look up at the emblem its pretty self explanatory
New on the right, old on the left, new one has the top post slightly askew...

Cut the top post, ground down the nub
Epoxy the top post to match the old one
Matches my car much better now!
Were the posts stubborn to push up through the plastic bushings? I too bought a black badge. I don't want to break anything.

The badge both came out and went in relatively easily, i didn't feel like i was going to break anything. The new bushings that were attached to the new badge were a little tougher, but i just used some locking pliers to pull them off
