Air Conditioning issue
I was wondering if anyone is having problems with their air-conditioning Similar to mine. The issue is that when I start up the car after sitting in the hot sun I noticed that the AC blows warm air. Even after four minutes of running the engine the air is not cool. However, if I shut the car off, wait about 15 seconds, then restart – the AC blows cold air immediately. There was no change in the engine temperature as the thermometer indicates. When I started the car first thing in the morning there was no issue with the AC blowing cold air. Are there any AC experts that can comment on why this is happening? I live in Florida so we have more hot days than not. Is there a particular sensor/part that is starting to fail?

At least in my vent system, it takes awhile for the hot air built into the ducting to pass through until the temperature reaches ambient temperature. That’s why I let the vent run until the temperature inside equals the temperature outside, before I run the air conditioner.

Have had similar issue with my b pillar vent blowing hot air whilst rest of vents blow cold air. It was a shutter actuator below seat that was faulty and jammed. Workshop had to (from memory) remove entire b pillar trunking and seat to replace. Worked properly after. Warranty job.
